Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pongo's status is Adoption Pending
Pongo is in Southern CA
Meet Pongo. He is 2.5 years old and is looking for his forever home. He is a sweet and fun boy. He is being fostered together with one of our other young male dalmatians. His Foster home reports:
"This 2-1/2 year old boy is full of vim and vigor. He is sure to steal your heart with hugs and kisses all day long. Pongo attaches very quickly to his humans, but needs very slow introductions to other dogs. He is currently fostered with another male dalmatian that is also looking for a forever home. His foster home also has a few dogs of their own and with slow proper introduction Pongo has done well with them. He does love the girl dogs. He would probably do best living with another very playful female.
He is the sweetest guy with one amber eye and the other a cool blue. He loves his toys, the tougher the better as he chews on them constantly. He should be fed separately due to showing some food aggression toward other dogs. He hates cats and has not been kid tested.
Pongo will do best with a single person or a couple who will keep him actively entertained so that he doesn’t get bored, and who will take him to basic obedience classes. He has a soft little whine when he’s left alone, but it doesn’t last long. He does need sone training otherwise like a typical smart dalmatian he will counter surf and get into the trash in search of a tasty meal or trait. "
OTHER:
Barks at someone when they come to the door.
Very smart, already learned to open the wire gate.
Cute little crooked tail, probably a birth mishap.
Loves the confort of a nice pillow to settle down and sleep with.
House trained.
Answers to a whistle.
Would benefit from a slow-eating bowl.
Needs leash and harness training for walking.
