My story

Born October 2017 Tywin is a male Chihuahua/Terrier mix who has a smile that is truly unforgettable! He is friendly, spunky and bonds deeply with “his person”. Tywin would do best in a home with another dog.. He is sensitive and cats scare him so he would be the happiest in a home with at least one other dog, but no cats. Tywin truly is a special and unique pup!

All dogs in adopters homes must be up to date on vaccinations and altered. No children under 5.

Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise.

Applications can found at our website mikeyschance.com. Please note that adopters are not chosen on a first come, first served basis, but full consideration is given to the best fit for the dog AND the adopter. Applications can 2-4 weeks to process, application submission does not guarantee approval for adoption.

Why adoption is a great option

Tywin, a West Richland Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in West Richland, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in West Richland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Richland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Richland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Richland paves the way for another one to be saved.
