Hola! My name is Bonito. I am a 1-and-a-half-year-old, neutered male, Beagle mix weighing around 20 lbs. I am here because The Cantu Foundation took me in. I was given a second chance when rescuers found me in a trash pile looking for food. I was covered in fleas and ticks. Even though I barely had the energy to walk when they found me, I was still wagging my tail because I knew my life was about to change furever. I have been the friendliest little guy since the beginning. I am house and leash trained! My foster constantly takes me out, if I want to go outside I’ll let you know because I will get up and start crying.
I am sweet, loving, and energetic! I am very active and I love to play fetch and run around. When I do get tired, I love to lay in the sun for a bit and sunbathe(gotta get that tan ya know!). My foster says I am overall the sweetest doggo. She can’t stress enough how much I love to cuddle! I love the attention so much because I never got any of it before this new life and it feels amazing...so I may scratch to get your attention. I am doggo and little hooman friendly. My favorite things are cuddling and playing fetch :)
My perfect furever home would be someone who is active and has time to play with me. I would also say someone who has other doggos would be great so I can play with them and won’t feel lonely.
