Our veterinary partner estimates that Nadia is 5-6 years old at the time of intake in October 2020. Nadia is good with people of all ages and other dogs. Nadia's story is heartbreaking . . . she was found as a stray with a huge tumor in her mouth that prevented her from eating properly. Nadia had been dumped by her owner--the same owner who allowed that tumor to grow for so long without medical treatment. As soon as we received a plea to help this very sweet pup, we of course said YES! Our veterinary partner has removed the tumor, and with it part of Nadia's jaw, but Nadia is now happy and pain free and she can finally smile! We can't change where Nadia has been, but we can certainly change where she's going! And she's going to a happy forever home to live a fantastic life. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
