Denim is an approximately 8 month old dachshund/lab mix (we are guessing) pup. He's about 22 pounds. He’s VERY busy, VERY, friendly, VERY loving, VERY playful and VERY much a fan of children!

Denim was being abused by his former owners who then gave him away when a caring neighbor offered to step in. He doesn’t hold it against people though. How anyone could beat a baby so loving and sweet is truly mind boggling...

Denim is on the hunt for his forever home. One with kids he can grow up with and a yard they can use for chase and hide and seek. He. Is. A. Puppy. And will need a family understanding of that fact. He will need correction and guidance; He will need patience and love. He will then make the best companion and sidekick. Denim loved the dock life he enjoyed with his temp - foster family and is enjoying the energy and routine of his current foster. This dog was being beaten and tossed aside every night. That’s how he started life. He’s loved now and so grateful for the security he has with us but he would benefit from a solid forever fam so his new life can officially begin.

Denim is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption donation is only $300! As with all puppies adopted through Maxx & Me, his adopter will need to commit to taking him to positive reinforcement puppy classes with a trainer of their choice.

All dogs posted are available (so no need to ask). We place dogs based on best home for each dog and not order of applications received.
