My story

A good Samaritan took in Romeo, a 6 yr old lab pit mix and his pal Poppy is a 13 years old dachshund chihuahua mix when the owner decided to take them to the shelter. This happens a lot where the dogs are starting to slow down i.e. start to age. The person who saved them from certain death at the shelter unfortunately can't keep them. If you can please open your heart and home to Poppy and maybe his pal, Romeo they will give never ending love in return!

Additional adoption info

An application is required to determine if the pet you are interested in would be a good match with your family/home. If you are selected for adoption a home check is required to ensure it is safe for the pet. There is a required contract where you agree to take proper care of the pet.

Adoption Fees: puppies are $300 to $350; adults are $250 to $300, and seniors are $100 to $200. Cats are $100.

SCT Retrievers started because of a need to give all breeds pure or mixed, large or small, old or young another chance to have a loving forever home. This is a very small organization and totally depends on private donations to help support the needs of the pets rescued. All donations go to the direct support and care of the pets rescued and are tax deductible.
