Meet pretty little 9lb. diva Penny. She’s 6mo old, and comes with all the needs of an active puppy. She’s started working on her basic training skills, but will require a family willing to continue her training and able to provide outlets for her energy and some confidence building. Puppy classes HIGHLY recommended.
Penny will thrive best in a stable, predictable, yet somewhat active environment. She can be cautious with new people and will need time to adjust when going into a new home. Young children make Penny a little nervous right now, so a home with kids over 12 if there are any. Another small playful and patient dog companion would be ideal for her to pair up with. Cats are a no though.
While she’s not a lap dog, she does love to be right up next to you so she can be sure to get plenty of pets and scratches. She’s good in the car and she’s getting the leash walking thing down. She’s so ready to have her own special person who will adore her as much as she will adore them.
Penny will not be placed in a home where she will be regularly left alone for long periods of time. And, although small in size she still needs a fenced in green space for frequent potty breaks and to round around off-leash in. Also, she can be vocal especially if left alone, so shared wall living situations, apartments/condos/ect, wouldn’t be the best for her.
Penny has an Underdog provided spay appointment scheduled in Clackamas, OR, on November 13, 2020, an adopter has to be able to take her in for. She will be microchipped at the time of her spay. She is up to date on vaccinations and preventative, but will need a DHPP booster after adoption. Adoption fee is $425.
