My story

Elsa is very sweet girl who loves belly rubs and scratches. She loves to sun bathe and sleep in the back window.  She also loves to watch you getting ready for work.  She will nudge you to turn on the faucet so she can get a cool drink of water or get in some head scratches!

She will come up to you for pets, belly rubs and brushing!  Loves attention and will weave herself between your legs and then roll around at your feet.

Elsa loves anything dangly or tunnels to hide in and then jump at you!  She's a happy little kitty    You can find her resting in the sun atop a cat tree sometimes!

More about this rescue

For the last six years, I have had the amazing opportunity to be on the board and in a leadership role with an all breed dog rescue, Cody’s Friends Rescue. Last summer, as I was entering one of the local shelters to pick up a dog for CFR, a 7 week old kitten was dropped on the floor and had clearly been attacked by something. Instead of leaving with just the CFR dog, I also took Max with me straight to the vet. An amazing community of supporters donated and prayed for this young thing and after spending a week at the hospital and having his tail and ear amputated, as well as finding out he would be blind in one eye, he came home with me.

It didn’t take long to realize Max was home where he would stay and he is one loved, spoiled and healthy cat! However, saving Max also gave me a renewed energy and desire to be involved in more than only dog rescue.

It took me a prayerful soul-searching year to actually take the action, but here I am. After much discussion with my family and also with my dear friends and Rescue Partners, I am happy to announce the beginnings of A Voice for All Paws, all PAWS animal rescue.
