My story

Jefferson is a beautiful brown tabby with long legs and a great take-charge personality! He's bold, assertive, adventurous, and a social butterfly. His curiousity and independence some times gets him into a little bit of trouble, but all that he's REALLY after is a family to call his own, a few catnip toys to chase around, and a soft cozy spot to nap in the sun.

Changing environment is a source of stress for more cats but Jefferson is particularly susceptible to it and needs a home which is quiet and stable, and preferrably where he have a calm kitty playmate (not an alpha cat) to snuggle with.

If you are looking for an affectionate snuggler, happy,  playful, and very smart cat (he can tell, by the tone of your voice, when he's done something naughty, and he will apologize with hugs, headbutts, and kisses), and are a savvy cat owner then Jefferson can be your purrfect match!
He's as sweet as can be; please give him the happy home and great life that he deserves!

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
