Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Well Hello, Dolly! This time we are reversing the famous musical and we are playing matchmaker for our very own Dolly. It seems fate has treated Dolly cruelly in her past, but we feel there is good fortune in her future. With our help we are determined to find Dolly’s forever home so she can say her very last hello.
Dolly was found outside as a young adult stray with all four paws declawed. It’s hard for us to fathom that even happening to a cat, but luckily a kind woman in Washingtonville came to her rescue and took Dolly in for the next seven years.
Dolly flourished in the quiet home...well maybe flourished a bit too much as she’s become a curvy plus sized girl who could use to shed a few pounds. Unfortunately her caretaker was stricken with terminal cancer and could no longer care for her and called us for help. She didn’t want to give up Dolly, but knew it was best.
Dolly would do better in a quieter home. She won’t be surfing countertops and might need some help jumping on the couch with you, but she is affectionate and friendly and yearns for a home setting. She likes to be brushed and pet and unfortunately loves treats a little too much. And her pink nose is just too cute!
Dolly is approximately nine years old. She tested negative for FeLV/FIV. She is up-to-date on vaccines, litter trained, spayed and declawed on all four paws.
