My story

PK is a independent little girl who needed some time to get used to people. She has come a long way in her foster home, and is very accepting of pets and scritches, even letting us rub her belly. The biggest change in her is that she purrs now! PK will need a patient, cat savvy person or couple who will give her time to acclimate to her new home and continue to work with her on socialization while allowing her to be herself. She would probably prefer to be the only animal in the home.

While in foster care, we discovered that PK has a renal (kidney) condition that requires 2 medications and regular monitoring. She takes her medications like a champ and eats a prescription dry food and Fancy Feast canned food. For more information about her condition please contact our medical manager @ b.dobbs@hartofme.org.
