Long-legged Daisy, the Treeing Walker Coonhound, is about 1 year old and most likely at her adult size at about 57 lbs. Her glossy, velvety soft coat does not shed much. She is patient and gentle with kids of all ages and generally loves everyone she meets. She enjoys strolling the yard sniffing and lounging in the house. She's a little independent but comes when you call her with her booty wagging. She is talkative and if she suspects there is a dog on the other side of the fence she will howl. She needs a large, fenced yard and is happiest when she can explore. Daisy will do best as an only dog. She is dominant and likes to wrestle other dogs for "top dog". She gets jealous of other dogs' treats, even if she has her own. She is crate trained and house trained. She knows how to sit and seems willing to learn other skills. She does moderately well on the leash, but could use more training to reduce periodic pulling. Daisy is a loving hound who will be a great companion.
