My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jax was surrendered to a facility after having him as their dog for almost 10 years. They had a baby that climbed all over him and Jax wasn't a huge fan of that while he would lay to rest. Instead of his parents monitoring or teaching the baby to leave Max alone, they felt it was easier to give him away. Jax is now safe in our rescue where we want nothing more than to find him a loving home to spend his golden years being loved and spoiled. He deserves to have a family that will never give up on him. Jax may be on the older side but he has the heart of a puppy. He loves to go running, hiking, ride in cars and play ball outside. He doesn't ask for much other than some play time and a soft bed to rest on. He loves everyone he meets and would do best in a home as an only pet at his age so he can absorb all the attention and love he has been missing since his family abandoned him. He is a 45-50lbs boxer mix, is fully house and crate trained, has been professionally trained and where the trainer has offered training with his new family for the remainder of Jax's life. He is the most loyal dog and will make the best companion to the person who is lucky enough to adopt our handsome boy. Senior dogs make the best pets and Jax is proof of that.
