My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: estimated mid-2013 -Adopted Nov 2020

Humphrey is a chatty guy with a loud, cute meow. He is a very affectionate fellow and loves to be petted. He enjoys being brushed, and doesn't mind being picked up. Humphrey's long, gorgeous, soft coat will need regular maintenance and brushing. He is a lap cat that purrs a lot and loves to snuggle. He's looking for a new forever home that'll give him all the love and tummy rubs he wants. He'll  knead his paws when you rub his belly and will reach out to touch you with his paws when you're next to him to ask you for your attention.

Humphrey enjoys playing and chasing after a toy mouse, hiding in cardboard boxes and exploring. He'll happily come running when he hears a bag of treats and will follow you around like a puppy from room to room.

We do not know how Humphrey would be with other cats, dogs, or kids. His current foster home has a dog, although they do not interact as they are separated.

Humphrey has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. This condition is something to take seriously, however, with proper care, there are often minimal health issues as a result of the FIV+ virus. For all cats, a good diet and regular veterinary checkups are important for lifelong health. FIV+ cats can have a normal lifespan and live as happy, lovable and playful cats
