Meet Stella, an adorable young Terrier Mix who was given up by a family who never provided her the love, attention and care she so deserved. Stella is a very adaptable girl, fine with other dogs as well as with people. However given her lack of human compassion and contact over the first 18 or so months of her life, she is not a cuddly pup who seeks out human attention.

Rather Stella is a bit of a loner. She is a wonderful companion but is not the kind of dog who loves to be picked up and carried around, cuddled and being touched by her human, at least not at this time. But, in time, we expect that Stella would come to trust and seek out the attention and affection of her family members.

We are seeking a family with solid Terrier experience and a knowledge of the typical Terrier traits. Stella tends to be a chewer, and her new family will need to ensure she has high quality (non-Chinese) chew sticks, like bully sticks, deer antlers, and Himalayan bones & chews. Otherwise she might decide to chew furniture or bedding!

Stella is not quite 2 years old, and weighs about 22 lbs. We believe that she is a Scottie Mix. She is in great health, is up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative. spayed and microchipped.
