Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Emmy came from Miami with her 2 puppies in tow: Baloo and Bagherra who have been adopted. She is a sweet terrier mix but is very scared of getting physically close to humans. She is great with other dogs but is taking her sweet time in warming up to people. She has come a long way and will now give you kisses and let you pet her. Still shy of too much handling. She does love kisses though and will come to you if you don't reach out to her.
We're not sure exactly what happened with this poor girl, but she is slowly blossoming and when she does she'll be an outstanding companion. She's still very young; maybe 1-1/2 to 2 years old. So we can only guess at what she's been through in these few years to be so scared of people.
Because she is still young and plays constantly with the other fosters in the house and gets great security from having one of her own kind with her, we're highly recommending she be placed in a household with at least one other dog.
