Sizzles in Elburn/Chicago, Illinois:
Sizzles is a 4 ½ year old smooth coated Jack Russell Terrier. He is a typical jack—stubborn, assertive and too smart for his own good. He is the outdoorsy type and enjoys hiking in the woods, jumping in leaf piles, and playing in the snow. If there is water nearby, he will swim and or splash and has been known to jump into any available bathtubs. Sizzles loves to find and play with any kind of toy, but "fetch" is his FAVORITE game of all. He can and will chase a ball for hours. He is a big time snuggler who loves laps and blankets much more than dog beds. Sizzles needs an owner that is experienced with JRTs and can appreciate all that they have to offer. He needs a home where he will be the only pet, with a large fenced in yard and no children. Also, no cats. He is housebroken and has been through basic obedience training. He is a very fast learner and extremely food motivated...if you are a training enthusiast looking for a partner, you've found your dog. Sizzles has been neutered, is heartworm free and is up to date on all vaccinations.
He needs a securely fenced yard...no electronic fencing or wrought iron...unless the bars are very close together. Sizzles would love it if his new owner was not gone all day. hat’s a long time for a JRT to be home alone with no activity. In order to adopt Sizzles you will have to submit to a visit to your home and have a good vet reference. His adopter must be willing to drive to the Chicago area to get him. There will be no shipping or transporting. We are asking for a small re-homing fee.
