Lady is at least 6 years old, slow-paced and docile. She is extremely friendly and will cozy up to anyone who will pet her. She responds to her name and common adjectives (dog, girl, etc.) She understands and obeys these commands: sit, stay, lay down, jump, down, no, and come here. She is house trained and very quiet, so she should go most days without barking. I will give her kennel and other care objects for free with her.
Lady was rescued off the street after a winter storm and had clearly just had given birth. We spent days hunting for her owners, but we couldn't find them and no one responded to the many ads we distributed with her picture and location. We decided to keep and take care of her and she has been living happily and comfortable ever since. Due to my two toddlers being allergic to dogs and our schedule becoming busier, I feel that Lady deserves to be in a more attentive home.
She has two dog friends at home, a border collie, Dizzy, and a border terrier, Harmony.
