Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I noticed one of our neighbors had a dog chained to their tree.On September 27, 2016 I was able to rescue him from that terrible situation. He was used as a breeder and otherwise left chained up.Aztek took a long time to acclimate to being inside a house but is 100% rehabilitated. Regardless of everything he's been through, he's surpassed all my expectations. I have 2 young Autistic boys, 2 large dogs, 2 cats & free range chickens. He is wonderful with my boys and he LOVES to play with other dogs. I was absolutely shocked at his lack of interest in any small animals, but he truly has none. I've had chickens, ducks & quail inside the house and he doesn't even try to sniff them. My boys are not easy on the animals, it's been a long journey to try to teach them to be gentle, not sit on them, not to pull or push them, etc etc. Aztek has been a perfect angel with our kiddos despite their rough handling.
Aztec is 7 years old, 75 lbs and a LOVER. We have a fenced yard and would recommend one.
