My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI! My name is Nacho. I’m a two year old Chihuahua mix, recently rescued from the streets of Mexico.
I can by shy when meeting new humans, but I warm up quickly. I love humans and other dogs! But I’m a little too curious about cats. I can get jumpy and mouthy when I’m excited, so a home without small children is recommended. I currently live alone with my foster in an apartment, and I’m fine with that, but a yard and more humans to play with would be a bonus!
I’m quickly learning to walk well on a leash, and love my two 30 minute walks each day with my foster. I also love hiking and running, and playing with my doggy friends at the dog park. I have a lot of energy, but I settle down nicely after some good exercise. . I love food and will happily eat anything you give me! I’m just beginning to learn what toys are all about.
I’m a cuddle bug! Although I’m crate trained, I prefer to snuggle on your couch with lots of pillows and blankets.
I’m doing a great job learning proper toilet habits, but I will need to learn the new rules in a new home
I’m being fostered in San Diego, and my adoption fee is 400.
