Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Signe (sig-nee) was adopted from Durham APS. She is 1.5 years old. Signe is incredibly sweet. She loves kids and dogs (except little dogs). She is a little too curious about small animals. I do not think she would do well with cats.
Signe would LOVE to be in a home with other dogs that are her size (40lbs) or larger. She loves toys. She is highly food-driven and intelligent, so she can be trained. She does get distracted, but can be redirected. She does really well with my children. Signe likes walks, visits to the dog park, and hiking. She also loves to just cuddle.
Signe has been trained to sit, stay, shake, lay down, and down. Signe is leash-trained, crate-trained, and house-trained but she may have an accident if she drinks too much water at once. She will whine and pace when she needs to go out.
I am looking for a loving home that has the time and attention to keep Signe active and happy. I am in nursing school and just can't devote the time that she deserves.
