Hello furiends! My name is Gemma, I am a 2-year-old Shepherd mix weighing in at a solid 45lbs. I’m very excited to meet you! Before coming here, my previous family let me outside for a potty break, and never let me back in. I waited, and waited, and waited, and some nice security guards fed me yummy food. Still, I was pregnant and scared! Then one day I was attacked by some dog’s and some nice neighbors called TCF and within a day was in the comfort of my foster home, ready to become a mama myself! I gave birth to my puppies in a warm, safe environment coached by my wonderful foster mama. I am fully potty-trained and am a pro at walking with a leash. I’m not used to a crate, I prefer to sprawl on my own bed. I’m also not up to date with vaccines and I am not spayed, but nothing a quick trip to the vet can’t fix! Finally, I love other doggies and mini hoomans, but I have no idea what a cat is!
I’m loving, gentle and affectionate. Though I might look big, I am very calm and I promise I’m not aggressive. Don’t get me wrong, if there’s another doggo furiend to hang out with, my playful side comes out. Other than that, I am very sweet and mellow. I am super friendly with other hoomans too. I love to lay on my very own comfy bed and sunbathe to pass my time. Do I sound like I can be your best furiend ever?
My ideal home would be with two loving parents who give me all the cuddles. I love attention, but would not mind another doggo-sibling or even a mini hooman to keep me company. I love treats though, so you have to give me them every day - NO EXCEPTIONS. :) My adoption fee is $450 and that includes spaying/neutering, all my first vaccinations and microchip.
