My story

INDOOR HOMES ONLY PLEASE

Tisket & Tasketi were born July 2, 2020. Their mommy was rescued from a park just two days prior to her giving birth! Whew! Glad she was rescued just in the nick of time! Their mommy Trinket had five babies and these two girls are the only ones remaining that need homes.

They are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together as they love each other so much. It is hard to tell them apart but their markings are different and with a keen eye you will be able to differentiate them. They were spayed in early March 2021 and have healed nicely.

They are enchanting girls who get excited for food pellets and romp back and forth in their room with anticipation! They've been known to gnaw on the bottom of my sneakers when I sit down to play with them! If they smell a fragrant treat but don't see it, they will definitely nudge your leg, arm or hand so you will hurry up and feed it to them. Sassy and spirited. Comical and curious. Always entertaining!

Give them room to frolic about and you'll be enthralled for hours as you watch them flourish!

Tisket & Tasket can't wait to meet you!

If these rabbits can't live indoor and be free roaming or live in a room or a section of a room, then an exercise pen (x-pen), also known as a puppy pen, or home made DIY wire grid system enclosure is a suitable alternative. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Please be over 18 if inquiring about a rabbit.

The rabbits can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. The adoption fee is $80 per rabbit which just covers the spay surgery at the low cost clinic and rescue intake medication protocols. (The average price of a rabbit spay at many vets is a minimum of $125 if you're lucky and up to $500). Any additional donations to keep the rescue afloat are greatly appreciated.

Don't have the items you need to welcome a bunny to your home? No problem, I have low cost x-pen enclosures, litter boxes, bunny litter, hay, food pellets and toys to make new bunny ownership easier for you. Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!

Or, if you prefer to get your bunny supplies ahead of time, PLEASE consult with me before you purchase them as I can direct you to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials.

More about this rescue

Kribs for Kritters primary focus is rescuing domestic rabbits that have been abandoned at parks, schools, golf courses, fitness trails and any other outdoor location. Kribs for Kritters also assists Golden View Farm Rabbit Rescue in their heroic efforts. All rabbits are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We are both a rescue and a shelter. We have over 100 rabbits in our care. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask. It is likely we have a bunny to suit your needs. New bunnies are being rescued every week. We don’t always have time/resources to post every bunny that crosses our path. We have an exceptionally high success rate of bunny bonding on the very first date. So, if you’re looking for a mate for your existing bunny, give us a try. Our operating costs are at least $1,000 per month so donations are always appreciated. Donations can be made to PayPal.me/kribsforkritters.
