Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Axel is a gorgeous, energetic, playful, loving and sleek, people and dog-friendly, 55-pound, one-year-old old male fawn and white Pit Bull Terrier-mix looking for a loving home. Axel was found as a stray in Gary, Indiana, and was transferred to a foster home in Chicago. He is doing beautifully with four other dogs in the foster home; his new best friend is a Doberman Pinscher. Axel has proven himself perfectly housebroken, crate-trained, very well-behaved and quiet in the home. He's a great snuggler and gives kisses and plenty of tail wags. He also loves to self entertain with balls and toys. Axel already knows the commands sit and down, takes treats ever so gently from your fingers, and is looking for a wonderful new home where someone has time to continue his training and give him daily exercise. He would make a fantastic running, walking, or hiking partner.
Axel is extremely healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt Axel, please contact Sandi at sandifitz@yahoo.com or 773-991-4004. His adoption donation of $200 benefits rescued pets.
