Personality: Inquisitive, Friendly toward humans, Friendly toward other animals, Cuddly, Chatty, Nervous, Playful, Energetic, Sweet

Favorite treats: Literally everything!

Favorite toys and activities: Eating, throwing hay around, hogging the igloo, willow and apple stick chews.

Potty trained: No

This animal’s daily routine: Greens / Veggies in the AM and vitamin C cookie in the evening.

BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Bertie and Botts are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction:
Guinea pigs, cats, dogs, & others. No big reactions, she either ignores them or will go in her igloo.

Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Yes, but not in quite some time. She allows them to give her treats but will move away if able when being reached for.

Other notes: Bertie & Botts are adorable and sweet. They know their fosters foot steps in the morning and begin wheeking and begging for their breakfast before she even gets down the stairs.

Bertie & Botts came back to MNPPR when their previous adopters were no longer able to provide care.

Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. Bertie’s foster parent prefers to meet at the Either PetSmart location in Rochester, MN - 3845 Marketplace Dr. NW, Rochester, MN 55901 & 4603 Maine Ave SE #109, Rochester, MN 55904 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
