My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Copper is our dorky and goofy hound mix who has been with us for quite some time now. He loves his toys, walks, and his people like no other. Copper takes a bit to warm up to but once he knows you he is extremely loyal, loving, and playful. He has issues with strangers but with constant work and socialization he opens up. He gets along with other dogs well but shows no interest in playing, he would rather coexist and walk around together. Copper would do well in a home with a confident and experienced owner who is ready to dedicate time to bring him out of his shell and work on his fears. The wait is completely worth it for our goofy boy!

Needs work on stranger danger and socialization with people.

More about this rescue

Our Mission Statement: Established in 1996; All Breed Rescue has rescued over 6,000 dogs from high kill shelters and has grown a vast network of volunteers and fosters in the process. As a compassionate non profit dog rescue, we work within the community through local schools, colleges and businesses to raise awareness of who we are and where we are going. As we aim for the future, we look to our community to aid us in saving more abused, frightened and neglected dogs of any breed, size and age through basic training, socializing and networking. It's with these actions we are able to place these abandoned dogs in caring fosters and loving homes here in the generous Northeast.
