Armani is estimated to be a 4 year old Yorkie mix. He weighs 8.5 pounds. Enzo is estimated to be 6 years old. He is 11.3 pounds. Armani and his brother Enzo are very attached to each other. They are being fostered in Dunedin, FL.
Due to Covid-19 all dogs fostered in the state of Florida must be adopted within the state of Florida.
UPDATED BIO 12/12/2020: Armani and his brother Enzo must be adopted together. They are completely attached and bonded to each other. If you saw them you might think they are connected at the hip. They even look alike though Armani is a little smaller and thinner. Both are so sweet and so good, but they are scared and skittish. It is no wonder because their story is not a happy one. Read their initial bio to see what a sad situation these two beautiful boys were in before they were rescued.
Fast Forward Armani and Enzo have nothing but good news today!! They both had their well doggie exam and are in very good health! Both of them have healed well from their recent neutering. Enzo has a small cataract in one eye, but nothing to be concerned about. And Armani needs to gain a couple of pounds. We now know that Enzo is around 6 years old and Armani around 4 years old. Oh and - very importantly - their teeth look really good!
These bonded boys have been with their foster Mom a little over a week and have shown huge improvements in a couple of important things. They arrived not house-trained at all and are learning very quickly, although it will take a little time until there are few or no accidents. They were both painfully scared and shy, but are rapidly learning to trust. They eat well, sleep well and are very devoted to each other. Enzo is the extrovert of the duo and he looks after his shy and quiet brother, including grooming him at night before they go to sleep. They are so cute together and make their foster Mom laugh and smile.
Enzo loves to be cuddled and held and likes to be the center of attention, while Armani takes a little longer to get to know you. He will also indulge our human need to cuddle a dog after he gains your trust.
They love to play and run around in the back yard, so a fenced in back yard will be a requirement for these two boys. We have not done much walking on the leash as Armani seems a little scared of that, but have focused more on getting them socialized and housebroken. They get along well with other people and dogs and seem to be happy as long as you are giving them lots of love - and a few treats sure help!
Armani and Enzo will make wonderful companions and have so much joy and love to give. Will you be the one to take them Home for the Holidays?
