Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Skippy! Skippy is a 7-year-old, 10-lb. sweetheart with big brown eyes and super soft fur. He’s quiet and mellow, and perfectly content to just sit quietly by your side. Skippy makes a perfect couch companion, he’s mellow and calm, and doesn’t ask for much.
Skippy was rescued from the shelter where he had been overlooked because he was scared, and often hid in his cubby. He’s still a little shy, but he enjoys soft petting, and is fine being picked up as long as he’s approached slowly.
Skippy gets along well with other dogs, rides nicely in a car, and appears to be housetrained. He has been diagnosed with kidney disease and requires a special diet, and sub q fluids several times a week. Skippy will make an ideal best buddy and companion.
Skippy is neutered, up to date on shots, dental, bloodwork, fecal tested, and microchipped.
Adoption process includes application, interview, home visit, contract and donation.
