Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bear is a 10 year old cocker spaniel who was my daughter’s dog. She was able to spend a lot of time with him but she has moved to her fathers and cannot take him at this time. He seems to have separation anxiety and barks and howls during the day while I’m working and at night when I am trying to sleep. I live in an apartment community and have been receiving noise complaints and have 3 days to resolve the issue before they proceed with eviction proceedings. I have reached out to several rescue organizations and they have advised there is no availability. I’m trying to avoid taking him to henrico animal shelter but I am kind of between a rock and a hard place. He needs someone who can spend more time and give him more love and attention. He is very nervous around children under 13/14 and will tolerate other dogs but growls if they are in his space. He can be described as a grumpy old man but is very loving affectionate and sweet with women especially but also with mild mannered men.
