Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Doug is a 5 year old, attention-loving, playful dog. He loves walks, playing outside, and sprinting around the yard. He can also be very lazy and enjoys a good belly rub. He is generally a quiet dog outside of spotting a deer in the yard or a delivery at the door. He knows basic commands well and is very food driven. Doug loves human affection and has been very loving and gentle with children. He becomes extra excited when friends/family come to visit but is also sensitive to how a temporary visitor (ie. contract worker, comcast service etc) is greeted and whether they are welcome in the home. It would be best to keep him in a separate, safe space when any unfamiliar visitors are present. Doug has played well with familiar dogs but has shown fear and/or dominance with certain new dogs. If another dog will be present it would be best to introduce them in a neutral territory first. He is a big cuddly dog looking for lots of love, attention, and treats!
