Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poppy is a 22 month old Boerboel that came to us from a private foster home. She is housetrained and good on a leash, very food motivated, and has shown a quick ability to follow commands during training sessions. We were told that she was good with children, but she should not be in a home with small children. She has demonstrated a tendency to jump, and she doesn't understand that she is hurting the small children when she knocks them over. She will not be adopted out to a home with children.
Poppy does not like cats, and we are unsure how she is with other dogs. Poppy needs a home with an owner who is experienced with large bread dogs. She enjoys walks and has short periods of energy. Most of the time she prefers to relax in her dog bed. Poppy is a super sweet girl with adults and follows basic commands. New family will have to continue to work on basic manners and usual dog orders (sit, stay, down, etc.). We have been working on these areas, and she is picking them up quickly.
