My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella means beautiful and that is exactly what she is. She is gorgeous. She is also crazy (but in the good kind of ways) crazy cute, crazy smart, crazy talented, crazy athletic and crazy amazing.

Don't let her sweet face and shy smile fool you! This girl can jump 0-7 feet in nothing flat, she knows how to scale a chain link fence and her zoomies will make your head spin. She is amazingly athletic and if you are interested in harnessing a dog's physical prowess for sports or performance, she is your girl!

One of her favorite things is a drive-by belly rub, that is, if you are fast enough to reach down for it when she flips over at your feet for one split second. Have we used the word firecracker yet? Deep down Bella has an endless desire for fun and games, but because she is so agile and strong, this has led to her creating the game of I Escape-You Find Me!

Bella lived with a family in Oklahoma for the first year of her life but escaped from her yard so many times, the family agreed to hand her over to a rescue who contacted Search Dog. She has many of the qualities that we look for, especially her physical abilities, but her fun-loving nature overpowered her focus for work.

Bella really loves to run (and jump and play) so she will need someone that has the ability to offer her the time and space to get her ya ya's out. She would be a terrific athletic partner and a wonderful friend for running, hiking, and playing. She can be rude, pushy and inappropriate with other dogs, so would fare best as the only dog in a household.

This girl loves everyone and everything, but would love to love you most of all!
