Ol Vinnie - To know him is to love him!
He’s extremely affectionate, loves his daily walks, loves people but I recommend a home with NO small children. He is an older gent who was most likely a junkyard dog who was never around other dogs or properly socialized with them. He is now capable (with an experienced owner) of walking, on leash, around other leashed and responsible pet parents and their dogs.
We are looking for that one GREAT owner who will keep him active daily so his legs stay nice and fit. When he first came to us he could barely walk 5 feet then he would just lay down because it hurt him to stand but now he is walking like a champ & I want it to stay that way as long as physically possible. He enjoys stuffed toys so he can shred them up but you have to know and understand how these older and more powerful gents can often accidentally get your hands instead of the toys if you’re not careful!
We just LOVE this guy! He is such a good looking boy, his fur is baby soft, he raises his arms for hugs and really all he wants is his own people that can spoil him rotten and never neglect him again. I’m looking for people that have experience in owning powerful breeds to adopt him. He is NOT for the first time dog owner and deserves to be respected as he is. Barking and annoying dogs frustrate him
