My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rudy is an eight year old 90 pound jolly chunky friendly low energy Pit Bull

He unfortunately needs to be rehomed because he (over the years) has gotten more and more unreliable with his canine siblings. Rudy needs to be an 'only dog' and would be happiest that way. That said, he can certainly interact with another respectful dog in town, or walk by another dog on a walk, but he is not a dog park dog and just prefers to be king of his castle.
He is absolutely perfect with people super friendly wonderful no issues.

Full disclosure there have been a couple of incidents where Rudy has gone after another dog in the home over food or sometimes seemingly just over space, we would like him to be in a home free of other pets so he can just focus on being loved by humans and love them back which he does best.

He is gentle with children ( lived with 2 younger teens) for many years and adores belly rubs and being pet and laying with you on the couch. He would prefer a nice fenced property as that is what he is used to, going in and out on his own to explore.

We do not want him to be crated and left we want him to be a companion dog with somebody who is living at home. His prior owner would appreciate being able to get updates and it would be very nice if he were in the same area. Rudy is in Massachusetts and obviously his owners are absolutely heartbreaking but they know they must make this decision because it is best for him. We would appreciate a new owner who will stay in touch- This dog is amazing and will love you unconditionally and he is quite the looker !!
