Adorable 'mini collie'

Meet Hunter...a collie/sheltie mix who looks like a miniature collie. His personality is all collie too! He is a confident healthy little boy around 1-to 1-1/2 yr's old, and should weigh about thirty pounds when he fills out. His face reminds me of a teddy bear! He loves to play with his foster sister and often instigates it. Hunter jumps, prances, rolls and plays while he makes funny noises. He shares his toys, bed, crate, and even his food. He gets along with the resident cats, other dogs and loves children. He hasn't met a stranger yet. He also loves human attention and cuddling on the sofa.

He would love another dog in the house. Hunter was shy at first and a friend really helps his confidence. He was neglected for a long time and is enjoying being spoiled for a change. He is crated when we leave, and sleeps on a dog bed in the bedroom at night. Hunter walks well on a leash, and gets a lot of attention wherever we go. He is soooo sweet and calm, even though he is young and full of energy. Hunter deserves a family of his own, that will give him the love and attention he needs for the rest of his life. And what he will give you back....a heart full of love, laughter, and companionship.
