Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Frankie! He will stop your heart! At first your heart will stop when you see him and what horrible condition he was allowed to get in. Then he will stop your heart because he is still so absolutely cute!
Frankie is a 4 month old, 20 lb male. He was at death’s door when an urgent call came from Brazoria County. He was in horrible condition and needed immediate medical treatment for the demodex mange that was all over his body and feet. His poor little feet were so swollen he could barely walk. Fortunately an angel named Mary came to his rescue and got him to the vet and he is now resting comfortably in his new foster home. He will require at least a 4-8 weeks recovery but he is such a sweetheart. Even in his condition, he is such a happy boy with a gentle personality. He barks at the door when he needs to go potty and has had no accidents in the house. He has been great with the cat and the kids. He is such a good little boy and we are so lucky to have him start 2009 with us. He will be available for adoption once he completes his medical treatment.
UPDATED 1/16/09 Frankie is now up to 27lbs and he is recovering nicely with lots of TLC! He is growing new fluffy black, tan and white fur!!! He continues to be an absolute pleasure to foster. He loves to curl up in his little crate and take naps all day but the puppy in him comes out when he goes out to play. He can fetch very nicely and loves to play with our resident dogs and cat. He is completely housebroken and continues to be very quiet and will let you know if he needs to go out. Frankie will fit in with any type of family or would even make a great little one on one soul mate for someone! He is just so easy going! You will love him as soon as you meet him!
