My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Marshall County Humane Society is now  following CDC guidelines for Covid-19 in order to keep everyone as safe as possible.  We are showing dogs and cats to prospective adopters, but only on the grounds outside our shelter. We will need appointment to show the animal and we will want to have social distancing of 6' while you are there and we are wearing masks.  We are doing Zoom interviews to see inside of your home since we aren't going into homes for home visit. We do come to your home before finalizing adoption to check  the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog.  Our dogs are given much care and attention and we treat every medical need of animal once we take them in.
MCHS is a limited intake adoption center. We are an all volunteer, non-profit organization. All of our animals are disease free, have been spayed/neutered and are up to date on shots. We charge a Dog adoption fee of $125 which includes a microchip. Our Cat adoption fee is $75.00. Most of our dogs will require a fenced yard. To fill out application, go to our website Marshallcountyhumanesociety.org, go to Adoption Info tab and click on Application. For more info, call 662-564-2900.

The girls tell me they like the white motley throat marking I have.  I really want a home so I promise I'll work hard to be a good boy if you take me home.  I try to be cooperative with the other dogs at the shelter so would probably get along with your other dogs or cats too.  Call to see me soon by calling 662-564-2900 or E-mail DogsNCats11@gmail.com to make an appointment to meet me. I will need a fenced yard.

All our animals have been spayed or neutered and up to date on all preventives and shots and we are microchipped.  Dog adoption fee is $150.00.

Fill out application at Marshallcountyhumanesociety.org and go to Adoption Info Tab.

More about this rescue

The Marshall County Humane Society is comprised solely of volunteers who simply love animals enough to try to make a difference in their lives. However, since this is a non-profit organization, we are in need of donations in order to continue caring for and trying to adopt out our animals. All of our animals that are up for adoption are being cared for at our Center or in foster homes. If you would like to donate money, please send a check or money order to: Marshall County Humane Society
PO Box 625
Holly Springs, MS 38635 or go to Paypal and use our email Dogsncats11@gmail.com to donate.
