12/2020: Bond (James Bond!) is a quiet young boy picked up as a terrified stray in Martinez, then sent to the Berkeley Shelter where be continued to be shy & unresponsive. Since being removed from the shelter environment, Bond has regained normal boydoggie confidence, learned to hop into a comfy chair at night or climb steps to the people bed every morning to say hello & get the breakfast service going. He’s also learned not to be afraid of other dogs & to share his chair with others—as can be seen in one of the photos. In addition Bond knows how to use doggie doors to go outside to a securely fenced yard, but needs frequent reminders to do so! Now this dynamic may change when he’s the only Hound in the house as I have recently acquired a couple of a neutered males that job I believe have been encouraging Bond to one follow their bad examples😝!
