Evie, is a beautiful, loving, people-oriented, girl looking for a family who will make her the center of attention! We believe her breed to be a Black Lab – Boxer Mix. She weighs about 65 lbs, is about 3 years old, is very well behaved (we sent her through a structured training program with a professional trainer), and is an overall sweet, amazing, girl.

Evie loves being with people and will follow you wherever you go; she is not fond of being left alone. She listens very well, is professionally trained, and aims to please. She loves to play tug of war and ball, retrieving a tennis ball when thrown. However she will tear apart soft toys (probably to get the squeaker out…as dogs often do!!). Evie also greatly enjoys going for long walks. And, walks very well on leash.

We feel Evie will excel in a home in which someone is home most of the time (including during non-COVID times), a family absolutely committed to providing her the love and attention she deserves.

An ideal home for Evie is one with solid dog experience, particular with larger breed dogs. Another calm but playful dog might be good for Evie, but she would do very well as an only dog. Evie would love a secure fenced yard to run and play, and definitely a comfy chair to cuddle and nap.

We feel Evie would do best with children over the age of 10 simply due to her size and playfulness!
