Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My blue heeler is 9 yrs old, 35 lbs and lives indoors. She is house trained. I am moving and can’t take her with me. She is an entertainer. I can pick her up and hold her. If I dance she does. She knows hand and vocal commands, tricks, walks on a leash, baths are easy, not gun-shy. She loves to swim, go for rides, fetch, jumping high for frisbee and ball, and applause for a nice catch. You have to tell her to take a break or she’ll sprain an ankle. If I drop something she’ll get it for me. She has done great with little kids.
Her herding instinct is strong. She will stand in a cat or dog or persons way. She wants visitors to stay and play so she will grab their shoe when they leave by the front door. She is not aggressive. I use a simple beep collar to control her bad behavior with visitors. Her favorite treats are eggs and celery. I haven’t been able to spend any time with her the last month and she hasn’t retaliated once.
She is a great dog that deserves the right home.
