My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This CAT is a member of our Permanent Foster program, and is happily living in a foster home willing to care for him/her.  If you would like to help with the cost of care for cats in this program, please consider becoming a 'godpurrent.'  For as little as $25 per month, you can help provide veterinary care and food for a special needs cat. Donations can be made by regular mail or online using Paypal.  https://www.fandfnm.org/become-a-godpurrent.html

HISTORY: A family in the Santa Fe area requested our assistance as part of our Trap, Neuter & Release program, and were soon fostering five adorable kittens: RAEBURN, RALEIGH, RACINE, RAMSEY and ROGUE.  All the kittens are now doing well and have an active social life thanks to a large dog in the house, plus the fact that their foster mom takes them to work with her, giving them lots of new situations to experience.  ROGUE was originally thought to be a girl (and named Raquel), but a trip to the vet showed us our error!

TEMPERAMENT: ROGUE recently found his way back to F&F after he was brought to one of our vets to be euthanized as his owner couldn't afford the surgery to correct a urinary blockage which we believe was caused by being fed only cheap dry food.  This surgery was subsequently done and ROGUE has made a full recovery.  He should be kept on a healthy grain free diet of wet food such as Wellness Turkey (which is likes) and not fed any dry food.   He also requires a small pill daily to address a low thyroid.  ROGUE is a handsome boy with a short dark grey coat.
