My story

HISTORY: CLANCY 2 was rescued in NE Albuquerque, and soon afterward he was found to be FELV+. Since he is likely to be a carrier of the virus, CLANCY 2 needs an indoor home with no other cats, an FELV+ cat, or a healthy adult cat who has been vaccinated against the virus. FELV suppresses the immune system and is specific to felines; it cannot be transmitted to other animal species or to humans.
TEMPERAMENT: CLANCY 2 is very outgoing, confident, vigilant and friendly; he is a take-charge type of cat who is sometimes a bit impetuous, and can be dominating with other animals. He loves his toys and scratching paraphernalia, and can be obsessive about his food; he has been on a diet to keep his weight in check. CLANCY 2 is a handsome boy with a short coat and red tabby markings.

* cats are rotated weekly between foster homes and display
* adoption room to visit the cats during regular store hours
* playpens are locked if no volunteer in attendance
* Adoption Advisors available Thursday through Sunday 1pm-4pm or by appointment
