Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nina was a devoted mother cat existing on the streets of Brooklyn’s East New York section in the neighborhood of Cypress Hills. She and her kittens came off the street when the babies were ten days old and have been fostered since.
Nina has proven to be a good mother cat. She became friends with her growing kittens even after they no longer needed her mothering. She now trusts me. She plays “give me your paw” (a game usually reserved for dogs), and her body language lets me know she feels safe in my presence. She lets me pick her up, does some purring, and enjoys her petting. She likes her cubby and retreats into her private space when she wants some private cat time.
Nina is a beauty, with long white fur and a bushy calico tail. Her manner is foxlike, slow to react and quiet as she observes everything around her. She requires some patience as she settles into a new environment, but it would be worth it to get a loyal friend. She has had all shots and dental work, is spayed, has tested negative for Feline FIV and FELV, and is ready for her new home. She is around two years of age.
