Rescue favorite Chomp is officially ready for adoption. Chomp came to us 6 months ago with his ear ripped. Someone attempted a at home repair with a stapler and fishing line. He was also heartworm positive.
Chomp has been a ambassador for the breed though despite what he has been through. He is full of love to give and is very clingy and needy but who can blame him. Hes been tossed around and was dumped at the shelter when he needed a good owner the most.
Chomp is almost perfection. He loves everyone he meets. Hes good with all size dogs and has even been around a cat and a tortoise. Hes a very chill dog for the most part.
However he has major separation anxiety. He does need a escape proof crate. He will absolutely need to be crated when unattended. We are willing to provide his 250 dollar crate if its necessary to find him a good home.
Health wise he does have allergies and is currently on allergy shots. He has been treated for heartworm, neutered, microchipped and utd on shots. He is guesstimated at 6.5 yrs old (best we could guess as hes missing most of his teeth and what he does have has been broken and filed down most likely from chewing on a chain all his life. Unfortunately we see this a lot in rescue).
Chomp is located in Picayune Ms with For Bullies Sake rescue. Because of his anxiety I am not willing to put him on transport. 150.00 adoption fee and excellent homes need only apply. Pm the rescue page to see if Chomp is right for you.
