Rio is a small, young terrier mix who has had a rough start in life. He is looking for a calm, patient home where he can decompress and relearn how to "dog"! Rio does well with other small dogs. He will likely thrive best in an all-adult home that has some experience with dogs that have handling sensitivities. While Rio is still learning about the world and how to trust people again, we know that in the right environment he will open his heart and become an adorable scruffy companion for a new family! Rio does not yet walk well on a leash and may need a home with a yard in order to succeed.
