My story

"Hi friends! My name is Lane!! I am about 3 years old.
I was found over a year ago at the Schoharie boat launch. I was a little skinny and had a lot of scabs and boo boos on my head, but my great new friends at Ayres fixed me right up and now I am ready to find a family who will make sure that I never feel like I did wandering alone and with those injuries ever again. I love people that I have met so far, but I may be a little too much for kids right now.

I have really learned to play with other dogs. And I think that I could live with another pup! So maybe for now, a family all of my own would be best. I really just need someone to love me and continue to teach me what life is and what I am supposed to do. I really want to be the bestest boy. I paw-romise! I am still a young guy - only about 3 years old, even though I look much more distinguished. I got to see the doggy doctor and now all is left is seeing a new family who wants me to be theirs forever. That isn't too much to ask is it? I hope someone sees my soulful eyes and just melts into them and then has to message my friends at Ayres to see how to come meet me! Until then, I will continue to love and play with a full belly and warm blanket. And I will hope that my friends that see this may share me and tell friends about me until my happily ever is found!"
