Gemma needs a new mom and dad because she was fighting with another female in her home. Other than that she is a perfect little JRT! She’s spayed, current on everything, house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. She is great in the house and does not make a mess.
Her personality is great! She meets and greets people very well and is happy and friendly.
Gemma is 5 years old and in the prime of her life. She needs a fairly active owner - someone who will go in the yard and play with her, throw the ball, frisbee, toy, etc. Like all dogs she needs a brisk walk each day. Dogs love to smell new smells, do a little snooping, kick up a little grass. Her owner needs to be able to enjoy these things as well. Gemma is also very loving and snuggly. If you want her to, she will snooze beside you all night! Gemma needs to be an only dog and in a home with no cats or kiddos. Her adoption fee is $275. You will need a securely fenced yard. JRTs are notorious for being escape artists. No chain link as she can climb up it. No electronic fencing as she will run through it. No wrought iron unless it is also fenced with puppy bars. Please DO NOT apply to adopt Gemma if you cannot meet the fence requirements. A home visit will be done to check out your fence. A good vet reference is also required to adopt her.
