My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hanni is a very bright and interesting pup, who loves to be petted, and gives you a lot of love in return.

He is a very loyal boy, whose previous life is unknown to us, as he had to be trapped when he was first found in the neighborhood near a high kill shelter.

Hanni isn’t sure what to make of small children yet. Possible that some were rough with him or/and maybe some background of punishment in there.
But he would do best with older kids, 14 and above, who have experience with large breed dogs.

New faces take him a few minutes to accept into foster home. When he mouths he plays well, never broke skin or fabric. He has a noticeably clean teeth and gums. For a large doge he doesn’t carry much of a scent.

His first night was anxious, needing lots of attention until around 9pm, he sleeps exceptionally well alone in a padded open crate with the door open, not afraid of kennels.
Hanni prefers his spot very close to humans most the time, and finding dry spots to sunbathe on. He can sleep several hours undisturbed. He likes dog parks, and he knows a few tricks like sit, lay down, come, & had no accidents in the house. He’s non aggressive with food.

He has done good when tested with cats, however his foster home does not have cats, so introductions need to be slow and patient.

Hanni is about 18 months old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is kept on heartworm and flea preventatives.

His adoption fee includes his cost of transport from Texas to any out of state adopter.
