Chiva is a 6 yr. old dog that I thought was coming to her forever home. I fell in love with her immediately. She had belonged to an elderly woman who could no longer care for her, so I agreed to try her with us. Everything went great for the first few months. She got along with my other dogs (male chihuahua mix and a female terrier mix, both fixed) but after five months, it has become obvious that she doesn't like other female dogs. She and my other female started having occasional fights that have become more intense as time goes by.
She is well trained, loves to go for walks, and is very affectionate and gentle with her humans. She looks like a cross between a schnauzer and a corgi. Black with some white, especially around her face and hair. She has these soulful big, brown eyes. She loves her toys and gets along fine with male dogs. I am heartbroken to have to give her up, but she deserves to live her best life with someone who does not have other female dogs.
