My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thelma Lou aka Fuzzy is a long haired black female who first came to our attention when she started roaming through our front porch in the dead of winter. She started eating food we'd left out for another kitty, in an effort to capture her. She was quite shy and would run at the drop of a hat. Any movement and she'd flash away.

Over a couple of weeks Deanna was able to lure her in to be pet while she ate and then we eventually applied flea meds and got her wormed as well.

After a bit more time we were able to snatch her up and take her to the vet to determine sex and wellness. She passed the wellness exam with flying colors and we found out she was a female.

She's now in our house and is a real cuddle bug. She resided in the cat room with the kitty we were trying to catch (Nora).

She will be ready to go for adoption as early as the 26th and as late as 2/2 depending on whether she has been spayed prior to this, which was impossible to determine without knocking her out for exploratory.

Fuzz is an incredible kitty and will be a great pet. She has adjusted very well to indoor living and at least thus far has not shown an inclination to escape to the great outdoors.
